Domestic violence is among the worst malpractices prevalent in today's society. Though it is often held that such practices relate only to the so-called 'backward' societies like those of India or Pakistan,it would be unfair not to consider the immense section of humanity from amongst the most advanced nations who are also subject to such torture.
