Many people are unsure what the purpose of attending a gay men's retreat might be. At first glance, it might seem like an event one attends in order to achieve some individual personal goal as simple as taking a vacation, or something deeper, like attending a workshop meant to help people address a past hurt or trauma. Some men attend retreats with the hope that a special someone might cross their path.
