How to Survive on the Outside When the Love of Your Life Goes to Jail

I am writing this hopefully to help anyone that is going through a loved one being incarcerated, now or in the future. It seems almost surreal when something like this happens in your life. You are told of the possibilities but you never want to believe it. You won't let it enter your mind as the days approach sentencing and then the day comes...and they are gone. When I think back there are so many emotions that you will feel you can never truly be prepared.
