Recognizing Domestic Abuse

Domestic abuse is a serious issue, even today. A lot of people like to think of it as a problem that has dissipated over time, that our modern lifestyle has ironed out the wrinkles at the edge of society. But the sad truth is that domestic abuse continues to this day. Every year in the United States, about 2.4 million men and women report having been the victims of rape or domestic violence. Men, contrary to popular perception, can also be the victims of abuse and sex crimes.
